HOW IT WORKS!
SUCCEED
We take your product from scoping to approval with a clear route, disciplined execution, and full governance. Doxa Brazil maps the applicable Brazilian laws, prepares the technical file in Portuguese, coordinates accredited testing and the OCP (Product Certification Body), manages submissions, and sets you up for ongoing maintenance so approval isn’t just achieved, it’s sustained.
CONNECT

Break channel lock-in. With Doxa Brazil as your Brazilian host/holder, the INMETRO certificate can support several importers in parallel, so you can add or replace partners without re-testing the product.

What it enables:

  • Multi-importer model: Many authorized importers.

  • No single-importer dependence: reduce commercial and operational risk.

  • Faster coverage: With multiple distributors you can reach a wider regional distribution.

  • Centralized compliance: one technical file, one maintenance plan, controlled access.

GROW
Turn your INMETRO approval into market coverage. With Doxa Brazil as your Brazilian host/holder, your company can authorize multiple importers/distributors, so you can expand into new regions and channels without relying on a single importer. This multi-partner model increases reach, reduces commercial risk, and lets you match the right distributor to each product  segment—retail, hospital, e-commerce, specialty, or industrial.

TRADITIONAL PATH

In this scenario, the manufacturer authorizes a single importer to register the products in Brazil. While some required tests may already be available from the manufacturer, in most cases the importer must conduct additional testing locally. The importer typically incurs significant costs to obtain product registration, which can limit the number of potential customers for the manufacturer due to these high registration expenses. Consequently, the manufacturer often becomes tied to a single importer within the market.

DOXA BRAZIL

When a manufacturer partners with Doxa Brazil, it retains full control over the INMETRO certification while assuming the associated certification costs in Brazil. Doxa Brazil acts solely as the manufacturer’s official representative, not as an importer or distributor. The manufacturer continues to negotiate and sell directly to importers, while importers are able to use the certificate hosted by Doxa Brazil for their import activities.

This model enables the manufacturer to broaden its network of importers in Brazil, since the certification expenses have already been absorbed. As a result, the manufacturer is not restricted to a single exclusive importer, but can collaborate with multiple partners in the market.

This strategy is particularly advantageous for manufacturers aiming to diversify distribution channels, increase market accessibility, and enhance competitiveness without being bound by exclusive import arrangements.
